I am an engineer working in the development team of the CHIMERE chemistry-transport model at LMD (Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique), located at Ecole Polytechnique, France. I am involved in the development, code quality control, validation and evaluation of the CHIMERE model, as well as participating in several projects involving the CHIMERE model.
My PhD thesis revolved around the simulation of the atmospheric condition above the Mediterranean Sea with regards to atmospheric composition (specifically but not limited to organic aerosols) as well as the impact of climate change on the western basin and its surrounding french coast. The results of the simulations performed with the CHIMERE model were then compared to the measurements performed in multiple sights in the western basin of the Mediterranean during the ChArMEx campaign. My thesis was followed by a post-doctoral contract working on the simulation of biogenic secondary organic aerosols in the Landes forest in south western France.
