I am a Research Engineer at LMD/IPSL expert in Earth System modelling. I am involved in the numerical development of ocean, atmosphere and land-surface models in various context such as climate, air quality, regional processes or renewable energy.
I have a specific interest in the study of the Mediterranean Sea. During my PhD I studied the formation of mesoscale eddies through baroclinic instability and their size selection above steep coastal slopes of the Eastern Mediterranean. Later I also focused in the role of submesoscale eddies in the transport of planktonic ecosystem.
Today I am aiming at building a modelling framework of realistic biogeochemical cycles in the Mediterranean area encompassing river transport, oceanic ecosystem and atmospheric chemistry.
